Baile de California was founded by lifelong dancer, Diana Replogle-Purinton in May 2013. The purpose was and is twofold. First, to offer performing opportunities to anyone interested, regardless of age, gender, or level of training. And secondly, to preserve California’s cultural heritage and pass on her history to the next generation through active participation. Ms. Replogle believes history can come to life through active, hands on learning versus passive reading and listening.
